USS 2012, Magnificent And It's Christmas!

Spending 3 days family holiday at Singapore seems not enough.  But spending one whole day at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) is a lot worth it.  The children will enjoy all the time so are the parents....especially us :).

Since this is our annual family vacation (My family side), there were 16 of us plus 17 children.  We rent a bus to travel from my sister house accompanied with our local guide at 1.00am and reached Gelang Patah R&R by 5.45am.  After refreshing and prayer, we enter Singapore at 8.00am.

In Singapore we fetched our Singaporean guide at our hotel, Royal Hotel at Queens.  On the first day we did more on sightseeing and went to Maritime Experiential Museum at  Resort World Sentosa. It is actually located opposite to USS entry.  It is a medium size museum with lots of interactive enjoyed by the family with journey of the silk road.  There were also, of course by extra cost on the entry tickets, you can experienced the terrifying shipwreck Typhoon Theatre and also the Water World, full with under water creatures namely fish, sharks, etc..

Our big family...behind is a movie theatre and the lion face will move when it start.

At night we went to Night Safari at Wildlife Reserves Singapore.  It is the world's first safari park for nocturnal animals and it is the best visitor attraction experience you can get.  We took the tram safari experience whereby guided by tram tour.  It was a delightful 40 minutes expedition observing the animals in the specially enclosures, hearing sound of the dark jungle and the rushing water.

After the tram expedition, we went to watch the 20 minutes animal shows which was entertaining with few unexpected surprises.

at the entrance, there is a festive mood..Christmas tree!!
The next day as early as 9.30 am, we off to USS after breakfast at the hotel.  There were people crowded at the entrance queue to enter.  Once we're in, we immediately make planned, browsing the map, which to go first.  My advice is to go to the New York park first, where we ride the Transformer's attraction, so the queue time will be less than 1 hour if we went there early.  It was the best!  Then we have the blast roller coaster ride at the Cylon and Human ride.

By looking at the map above, there were few of parks you can explore.  Each of the park have 2 or more attraction you can experience.  For children above 7 yrs old can enjoy the attraction at the all park especially the New York and Ancient Egypt where they offer the terrifying roller coaster (there's a height limit upon entry) and a simple tram ride in Treasure Hunt.  For small children can enjoy at the Far Far Away park and Madagascar.  The Lost World is one of the best attraction they offer - roller coaster ride, Dino ride and Canopy Ride.  And the Hollywood park offer the ambience of  Hollywood at Lost Angeles where you can meet Elmo at Sesame Street and more.

We end our visit at 9.30 pm and we were really exhausted and aching everywhere...

The next day is our trip back to Kuala Lumpur.  But he have decided to stop at Johor Premium Outlet (JPO) on the way.  It is a new place people from Johor, KL, as well Singaporean can shop till drop here an exclusive branded products.  It is easily accessible from the South Expressway, and you can find more than 70 designer brand outlet stores featuring savings 20% - 50% everyday.

We reached Klang around 8.00 pm, on Christmas eve.  So on Christmas day we having barbecue at my sis house before heading back home for laundry job and back to the reality.  Fuh!! such a memorable holiday for my kids!.
